Lovely Mother and Child

This very lovely Mother and Child was carved from Serpentine stone. The different "lightened" effect on areas of the statue are the result of roughening the stone and in some instances leaving the stone in its natural form.

This African art statue weighs 9 pounds 4 ounces. It is 11 inches high, 7 1/2 inches wide and 3 inches deep.
