The Shona tribe comprise the largest population segment of Zimbabwe.  This depiction of a Shona chief was created by Canaan Tandi, an artist who works in a cooperative in Harare, capital of Zimbabwe.  He is 36 years old and has been working with stone for approximately 10 years.<br><br>The chief is carved from Opal stone.He weighs 64 pounds.  He is 19 inches high, 10 inches long and 10 inches wide.<br>
