Shona artists, as well as artists from other local and regional groups are constantly working on different offerings which portray not only people and animals in their African art work but other natural things in their surrounding environment. We have recently discovered some lovely hand carved and painted Shona decorations and present them below. We have obtained a lovely collection of animal portraits done on Verdite by Russell Dlamini and other artists. While it's difficult to see in the photos shown, these lovely plaques stand on their own and can be placed on any shelf, desk, or similar surface. We can also reach the artists for additional pieces.
