The artist we believe is Authur Manyengedzo. He named this lovely piece "Hopeful" however he has not signed the carving. The birds are carved from Springstone with the beautiful contrast of the very dark (almost black) brown and the bright brown. The light grey is where the stone has not been polished. This statue weighs 38 pounds 4 ounces. It is 21 inches high, 10 inches wide and 10 inches deep.
